Raajeev has over three decades years of professional experience spanning across consulting and Industry in the domain of Corporate Governance, Assurance and Risk management.

Raajeev is a Partner with KPMG for 16 years, with the last 6 years in the UAE. Currently, he leads the Firm’s Risk Management function, a role that Raajeev assumed in August 2019. His current role focusses on embedding the culture of quality and risk management, thereby protecting, and enhancing the Firm’s brand and trust worthiness. Before moving to the UAE in September 2015, Raajeev was the leader of the KPMG India’s Governance Risk & Compliance Services practice, where is also set-up and led the Firm’s Capital Project Advisory practice. The practice offers advice to project owners/ developers/ investors in managing risks around successful delivery of projects. This practice now stands as the largest practice in terms of headcount across the KPMG Global network.

Raajeev has advised organizations across diverse industries helping them improve their governance and effectively manage business risks through ‘no surprise’ philosophy. His experience in the industry as the head of Management Assurance at Vedanta Resources and Coca Cola India has enriched his experience on implementing advise and managing stakeholder expectations.

Raajeev is on the Board of the KPMG Firm in the UAE and a member of its Executive Committee.
